One of the first Post-apocalyptic RPGs on the market. It was created in the late 1970's by a couple of creative science fiction writers by the name of Bob Sadler and Rich Tucholka. After an appearance at GenCon in 1985, it gained limited distribution throughout the US and overseas. Several gaming modules and accessories have been published as well.

A modern, post-apocalypse game, set in the chaos after a conventional war in Europe that ends with a limited nuclear exchange used to ensure that anyone involved in the war (or not involved) would not have the industrial plant left to cause problems have an advantage after the war. Action occurs in 2000. Produced by GDW. Game of the Year in 1985. The game is supported by a good collection of modern equipment. It has an advantage that modern real-world sources can be used as background material.

Car Wars is the game of combat on the freeways of the not too distant future. Choose your vehicle -- complete with armor, power plant, suspension, even body style -- then take it out on the road. You'll come home an ace or you'll crash and burn. If you survive, your abilities will improve, and you can accumulate money to buy bigger and better cars. Advanced rules let you design your own cars, cycles, three-wheelers, vans, trucks, 18-wheel tractor-trailer rigs, buses, boats, hovercraft, even helicopters!
