Warlords of the 21st Century
BATTLETRUCK takes place when civilization as we know it is over, with no fuel to be found. She departs and moves into a tranquil community with a new companion, Michael Beck, prompting Wainwright to try to take revenge on the peaceniks. The actors are good, and the movie is filled with action, though not as speed-crazed as any of the Mel Gibson-George Miller movies. Made in New Zealand on a small budget, BATTLETRUCK looks better than similar chase films done in the US
